The overhyped phenomena of frustration

Every single time I have spoken to someone over 45 (wink) , I have always realized one thing , Frustration  is an overhyped phenomena!!

So now that I think back , I have come to realization that the frustration is definitely overhyped!  Am I a sage who is never frustrated ? I wish!! But I am equally frustrated about a million things...

Working in a challenging and demanding field, its very easy for anyone to just be frustrated and blame it all on the company, boss or even destiny for that matter... I believe its the simplest way to feel better about the situation. Trust me , I have blamed all the above mentioned entities and a million more for the frustration! Apart from temporary "victim" feeling, I haven't made any difference..

I have been fortunate enough to have amazing bosses and wonderful mentors. Pankaj has taught me one thing and I must say one of the most important lessons :) .... "Look beyond frustrations" ... Might sound very very simple to read but think about it.. Having an ability to look at any circumstances keeping the frustration piece aside is very very difficult! I think it will be life saver...

Some of us have a tendency to say "Its just the way today's world is! The jobs have changed , life has changed etc etc.." But when I listen to my parents stories, my grandparents stories.. May be the world hasn't really changed. Its the perspective that has changed!

So  next time if you are frustrated and want to scream in the traffic, quit your job , yell at the rude lady at the kiosk , throw your phone etc etc ...Just a friendly reminder , the frustration is your attitude of looking at the situation...May be the action will help but not always!

(Trust me this is coming from my most frustrated self!!)
