The bucket list

The bucket list is not a very new movie.Well I did not know anything about the movie. Its my friend who said lets watch it. I would suggest to add this movie into your 'to watch' list!

It is really a wonderful movie. It is a story of two terminally ill men.How they escape from a cancer ward and head off on a road trip with a wish list of to-dos before they die.The two lead characters Carter and Edward are played by Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. Edward is a very rich and famous man, people find very hard to work with him.He is all alone, his pursuit of money has left him without any family or friends. On the other side, Carter is a very very knowledgeable man.He is still married with three children. He is a mechanic by profession and earns just sufficient to raise the family. But the most important aspect of carter's character is his general knowledge. He knows almost everything about anything. He has been reading a lot of books. Now these two completely different people are in the same room of the hospital. They understand that they do not have much time now. Here comes the bucket list.Carter lists his "things to do before dying". Edward reads that and convinces Carter to do all those things they have always wanted to do before they die.Now the journey begins. They travel a lot.I wont say around the world but almost around the world.
The journey is not important, what is important is what they become after the journey. What they feel after the journey.Edward gets back in touch with his daughter and Carter spends wonderful time with his family.
In Egypt, Carter describes the two questions.Ancient egyptians believe that when you die god asks you two question
1. Have you found joy in your life?
2. Has your life brought joy to others?

Do we have answers to this question?

How I met your mother!!!

These days I am watching this series. How I met your mother..I guess it will still take atleast 2 seasons unless Ted reveals who the mother is..

In this series there is this legendary character of Barney..I really love the way he says SUIT UP and awsome!! He adds humor to the show..

He plays this 'awsome' game "Have you met Ted?"

Then there are these two guys Marshell and Lily..They have never been single!!!

Then Robin, the carrier woman!!!She is a news reporter..

Now comes the lead..Ted..The guy who wants to get married..and if we go by his description of dream girl(soulmate in his words), there is a little probability that he will get married..

Well the thing about this show is I know people who are exactly like them..One of my freinds is exactly like Ted..Another one can not be single..There is a Robin in the group too..And then there is Barney..The one who suits up..Plays the have you met game!!

Sometimes I really wonder, how do we find similarities in your best friend and Monica (from friends), or how can there be a Ted in your group?

It is really fun to connect your friends and famous TV characters..Lets see what similarities we find in our friends and the famous tv characters!!

10/10/10 @ 10.10

I really love this date, this time..
It is just magical..Writing blog at this time makes me feel fantastic!!

I know people may think whats so special about it?
Well then this is a simple question for them, what is so special every other day in the year? What is special in any year? any decade?any moment??

My point here is, Its not the day, the year, the time that is special..We make it special..We make it magical..We do certain things on that day, those small little things make the day special..There is always something special in every day..Every day is special..What is so special in valentine's day or mother's day?We make it special by remembering our loved ones..We make it special by spending time with our loved ones..

I am reading a wonderful book by one of my all time favorite authors Paulo Coelho..The name of the book is "By the river Piedra I sat down and wept"..In this book the author describes the concept of magic moment..He says there is at least one magic moment in every day..Its up to us whether to believe it or not..to cherish that moment or not..to experience that moment or leave it..to live that moment or ignore it..

This concept of magic moment is a really good one..Seriously just think about it this way, Every night before going to bed, we will mentally go through the day and think of a magic moment..And there will be certainly at least one encounter/moment/act that will catch our attention..And it will definitely teach us something..

So my magic moment would be this moment 10/10/10 @ 10.10...
