Being Princess!

Once upon a time, there lived a .......Lets chuck the "Once upon time"..I talking about the present..Now!

I read an interesting article about Bentley's challenge.. Bentley being a respectable brand , sure had n number of challenges before they could establish themselves as a successful brand.. I am not talking about their challenges during manufacturing processes , their quality measures, safety measures..I dont think I am the right person for that.. I am referring to an interesting challenge Bentley had..The challenge to paint a customized car with the exact same shade of royal nail polish!!

Yes Nail polish! Bentley had a challenge to paint a car with a shade that matched the princess's nail polish.. WoW! When I read this article for the first time, I was awestruck! Stunned may be..Then I started thinking about the princess..

I am sure being Princess is much more than wearing those beautiful dresses, expensive jewelry and the prestigious tiara..I think we are so used to think of princesses with all these attributes attached to them.. Sometimes I wonder, their life might not be as glittery as it seems.. Being princess means losing your freedom to roam around. Thousands of eyes are set on you, on your every move...Every word you say is going to be a "breaking news"..Every dress you wear is going to be highly criticized or it might be a trend setter..
Even the blink of your eye is noticed!

With the extravagant life style, there are many responsibilities. She has to be a role model..She needs to take every step with utmost care and thinking it through. A true princess might not be able to follow her heart's calling..Might not be able to enjoy the sunset on the beach in shorts..Might not be able to roam on the streets at midnight..

That reminds me of the anne hathway movie  "The Princess Diaries"..I totally adored that movie while growing up and still love to watch it..This one has always been my favorite.Let me leave you with some lines from one of the soundtracks from the movie.

Seems like a dream
But there's one thing missing
Nobody's here with me
(Here with me)
To share in all that
I've been given
I need someone
That's strong enough for me
