USA

This week was a pretty hectic one!!
Now finally I have arrived in the US..After long days of shopping, after long chats with people, after farewell parties, after visiting relatives, after so much of packing (Removing mostly!!! as 23 kg isn't much you know!! I wish they allowed 30*3 bags) , after waiting for so long on the airport at Mumbai, Frankfurt and Dallas!!, after the loss of baggage(well I have got it back again) and etc etc as the list is never ending..
Actually I don't have a laptop yet, so I wrote this blog on the paper first..
So the USA, Texan heat..This city(Richardson) is really really very very hot.. Its very sunny here.I don't know how I am going to bare with the texan heat..

USA-Texas-Dallas-Richardson  This will give an idea where I am currently.Everyone keeps asking me in their mails about how does it feel to be there?I really do not have any answer for this question..Hopefully I get the answer soon..

This one is for you

           It's been said that everlasting friends can go long periods of time without speaking and never question their friendship.These types of friends pick up like they just spoke yesterday, regardless of how long it has been or how far away they live, and they don't hold grudges.They understand that life is busy..but you will ALWAYS love them..

          I hope you know, who am I talking about..Thank you..Thank you for being there..And I really hope distance does not separate us..

Prem ani valentines day

I don't know why do people connect valentines day with the romantic love..
Love can be n any form..It can be the love for your parents, friends, siblings,
relatives or anyone..It need not be only for the special someone..
Why do we wait to celebrate valentines day for him?
Well... I celebrated my day very well..I gifted something to people I really love(including me!!!!!).. It sounds a bit crazy but as kareena kapoor says in Jab We Met,"Mai apane apaki favorite hoon..".Yes, I love myself..Well I didn't buy anything for me, gift as such..but I know I love you..
Now, about the gifts..Gift need not be an artistic thing always..It can be a nice message, a short chat, a phone call may be..It need not be a material thing always, it can be an act, a walk with someone you care for..It can be anything..
Today I listened to many good songs..Radio war changali gani lagatat aaj..

More than words

               This is one of my favorite songs..This song by westlife is a really good one..I guess we all would like to go deeper and show or see beyond words..

               Its not that words do not convey feelings, but there is certainly something more than words..Something that can not be expressed using words..Something that can only be felt..This is true in any type of situation..Any relationship...Any person..Mom never tells you she loves you, you can feel that..You don't have to wish a friend his birthday, you just have to gift him something!!!(How do I add smiley here???That would be more than words right!!!)..In DDLJ, Shahrukh khan has to give a flower, mere sorry is not accepted by kajol!!!See more than words philosophy applies everywhere!!!
               What I want to say here is we really appreciate if someone goes beyond words for us..Then why not we??Why not 'I' is going beyond the words!!!!

New year....

First of all a happy new year to all.

This year I celebrated with my friends..But the celebrations didnt end on 1st!!!! We continued til 5th!!!! Went to anice place 'Belgam'.. It is a quite city..The 'tourist' part of us was not awake.. Basically we enjoyed being lazy..Just lying in the bed, watching TV, munching on anything that is available..Having fantastic homemade lunches n dinners..
It was a great break from the hectic schedule and we were rejunavating ourselves..
Now I understand how chandler and joyey might have felt when they spent the whole day eating and watching TV!!
Take my word, It feels great..You dont have anything to do..You dont have to get up early..You dont need to go anywhere..You dont have to answer any phonecalls(Thanks to IDEA, there the cellphone doesnt work according to your wish....)...You dont have to make a daily TO DO list(As you dont have anything to do..)...You dont have to drive..You dont even have to cook for yourself...you dont have any time limits..You dont need to see people..You are just with your best friend..Its just you, spending time for yourself, with yourself...Now I truly realise how important sleeping well is..

Every year I would love to go somewhere and have such a great time..Thank you ragini..

Life is beautiful but...

Life is beautiful but only if you really want it to be that way. Only strong desire is not enough, we need to try to give a greater meaning to our lives..
I just finished reading mind over matter from the Sunday Times.I completely agree with the fact I just mentioned. Just saying that the life is beautiful is sometimes like cheating yourself. Unless you truly do not desire a beautiful life and you do not fool yourself, life is beautiful.
There is this one more thought that comes to my mind "There is nothing as bad weather only different kinds of good weather." Same is true with life. Under no circumstance the life is "bad" "ugly", its just the beauty which we do not understand or not yet appreciated.
Complaining about life isn't a good idea at all. Lets ask ourselves what I have done to make my life beautiful??
